Let me just start out by telling you how honored I am that you guys are here. It means the absolute world to me to know that you’ve connected with my art, style, or personality enough to check out my work amidst countless other talented artists. That’s pretty rad, so thank you 🙂
A little bit about me – I live in Portland, Oregon with my beautiful and talented girlfriend, Kati (also a photographer, you can check her work out here!), and our two doggos – Louie, our 100lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and Sophie, our 10lb wirey who-knows-what-she-is dog (LOL). We love ’em 🙂 I got my first actual camera almost 6 years ago because of all the traveling, hiking, and camping I do but it wasn’t until early 2017 that I found my passion for photographing love stories. It feels pretty crazy to say that I’m actually living my dream and have found something that challenges me to grow, not just creatively, but in almost every area of my life.
I have a nomadic spirit and could probably spend about 70% of my days backpacking and camping through other countries and wilderness areas, preferably barefoot, meeting new people or just being with nature.
I also strive be more than just a photographer for my couples. I want to get to know you guys like real humans (it’s weird that I even have to say that) and show you that taking photos shouldn’t be a chore! Plus, if you find yourself feeling goofy and awkward, I’d bet that that’s one of the exact qualities your partner adores about you! I want you to be able to look back at your photos and FEEL the way you and your partner love each other. If there’s one thing I strive for, it would be for the photos we create together to be strong enough to act as an anchor 5, 10, 40 years down the road, for you to look at and remember exactly what it is about that other person that makes you love them – the way you laugh together, hold each other, play, kiss, and look at one another.
If you guys would like to chat, hit the button below and tell me your story. I’d love to hear from you!
PS – Want to win me over? Propose a hiking elopement or a backpacking trip and I’m yours!
